Yirga Cheffe coffee is a washed, wet-processed coffee farmed in & nearby to a little village in southern Ethiopia, called Yirgacheffe. The coffee is grown at elevations inbetween 1,700 & 2,200 meters ASL. Such altitudes qualify Yirgacheffe coffee to be classified as Strictly High growth (SHG).

Yirga Cheffe coffee is thought to be the best coffee cultivated in the southern areas of Ethiopia & also holds its own against other coffee varieties from other areas.

Single origin coffee is coffee that is farmed from a little and specific location in the world. Many coffee lovers do believe that a single origin coffee is, in fact, better than other varieties of coffee as it is purer and more homogenous in flavour.
